Who are Whitaker?
Whitaker, or John Whitaker International, is a British brand of equestrian apparel and horse products including rugs, tack, and accessories.
What do they offer?
Whitaker offer a range of full leather, adjustable saddles, affordably priced. Their range includes GP's, Jump, Dressage, and show saddles.
Some models are available with a heat adjustable tree, with others having the adjustable gullet tree.
Whitaker Overton Jump Saddle
The Overton is a saddle specifically designed for jumping activities. It offers a forward cut flap, with large padded knee roll. The level of padding on the knee roll is much better than comparable models on the market.
The ghosted stitching is staggered to encourage proper leg positioning and offer the rider support.
The leather flap also features a padded section at the skirt to stop creasing and aid comfort.
The panels are made from a synthetic leather, with memory foam core which offers a close contact feel, and moulds to the shape of your horse. The saddle also features felt slits to enable additional flocking to be added as required.
Who are they suitable for?
The Whitaker Overton saddle is available in Black or Brown, in sizes from 16 inch up to 18 inch.
The easy change adjustable gullet system offers bars available in Narrow up to XXW making this a fantastic choice for a horse which gains/looses weight/muscle tone throughout the year.
They are great for pony club, riding club, and general show jumping.
How much are they?
These super jumping saddles are very affordable and comparable to others in the market such as Kent and Masters.

Our opinion
Whitaker saddles are great. However we would always opt for the adjustable gullet bar saddles rather than the heat adjustable tree for ease of adjustability. The quality and price of these saddles make them a cracking buy for anyone wanting to participate in some form of jumping.
