The Chiberta is marketed as Devoucoux’s Eventing saddle. There are three variants – the Chiberta O, the Chiberta K, Chiberta Lab, and the Chiberta Enara. Here we will look at the features of each, and help you decide if it is the right saddle for you.
Who are Devoucoux?
Devoucoux are manufacturers of high end saddles, in France. They have been dedicated to the partnership between horse and rider since 1985. They also offer a range of accessories such as girths, boots, bridles, and other leather work.
Devoucoux Chiberta Eventing Saddles
Each of the Chiberta’s are made using Devoucoux’s D3D technology – 3D scanners used alongside the latest modelling software giving the ability to devise the most sophisticated padding in terms of performance and comfort.
The Chiberta’s all feature wider panels, increasing the surface area by 30% compared to their previous generation of panels, therefore increasing the weight-bearing surface area and distributing the weight over a greater area of the horses back. The panels are more flexible, and there is a wider passage between the panels, ensuring good spinal clearance.
