Full payment is taken for the saddle at the point of check out. If the saddle fits – great! No further action required.

Select your delivery date at check out. Please note we recommend having the saddle delivered 2 working days before your saddle fitting appointment in case of any unexpected delays with the courier.

Sadly we are not able to offer a trial internationally at present. However, most of our international clients still find it cheaper to import a quality saddle from UK than to source one in their own country.

The launch of the latest model of the Bates Isabell dressage saddle in 2023 was an extremely exciting event.
The Bates Isabell Werth saddle has been a much loved, adjustable dressage saddle for many years.
The latest release named the Bates Isabell Icon is the best by far. This saddle enables dressage riders to take their riding to the next level.
The saddle remains a dual flap, which Isabell herself prefers. However, new features such as the implementation of the synergy panel allows riders to achieve a close contact ride with their horse to enhance communication.
The use of Luxe leather also enables the rider to sit within the saddle thanks to the beautiful buttery calf skin leather.

The Bates Saddles warranty becomes effective from the date of purchase of your new Bates saddle.
You must provide proof of purchase, the original purchase receipt and your warranty card.
A repair or replacement under the Bates Saddles Warranty will not extend your Bates Saddles warranty period.
The Bates Saddles warranty is processed through our appointed Bates Saddles retailers.
What is covered under the Bates Saddles warranty:
Bates Saddles guarantees the repair or replacement of your Bates saddle (or part thereof) at no cost, if found to have a breakage in the tree for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase.
Bates Saddles guarantees the repair or replacement of your Bates saddle (or part thereof) at no cost, if found to have faulty materials or workmanship within two years of the date of purchase.
Please note, this line does not apply to saddles sold as a factory second, discontinued or prototype model, which would feature unique "specials" warranty ticketing.

6 month soundness warranty is provided on all second hand saddles.
Saddles are sold sound, and we expect a saddle with an average amount of use to have many years of use.
Warranty is only valid on saddles that have been well cared for, maintained by the purchaser, and does not include accidental damage, fire, or theft. Any alterations made by a saddle fitter or owner will deem the warranty invalid as the person who has made such changes is responsible for the safety of the saddle.
