The John Whitaker Barnsley Pony is the perfect junior and young rider GP saddle. The Barnsley Pony is available in seat sizes from 15.5 inches up to 16.5 inches in black and brown and is part leather, part synthetic saddle, making it a lightweight and lower maintenance saddle than a full leather GP. The Barnsley Pony features moveable velcro knee and calf blocks so they can be put in the best position for the younger rider to give them the best support.
The Barnsley Pony takes the Guller Bar A, which comes in widths from Narrow to Extra Extra Wide; the gullet bar can be easily changed at home by you or your saddle fitter so the saddle can be altered to fit throughout the year as your horse changes shape.
The Barnsley Pony has foam panels which are lightweight and don't ball up or need 're-flocking'; they do have small felt slits, so minor alterations can be made with flocking to assist in the fit of the saddle by your fitter.
