Thorowgood T4 Compact GP MGC Saddles

The Thorowgood T4 MGC Compact GP is a fabulous, lightweight saddle for everyday use. The Thorowgood T4 range features saddles made from lightweight synthetic material, with a suede-effect seat and knee roll for extra grip. They are lightweight, low maintenance and easy to clean. If you prefer a saddle without the suede effect, look at the Thorowgood T8 MGC, a hybrid model that is part leather and part synthetic. The T4 MGC Compact GP works well for petite riders or those with narrow hips, as it is narrower through the twist and seat. If you have wider hips, consider the T4 MGP instead, as this offers a more open seat. The 'M' in the MGC means Medium Wither profile. If your horse has a high wither, consider the HGC or a low wither, the LGC model instead.
All Thorowgood saddles are wool-flocked, meaning your saddle fitter can make minor alterations to them. Furthermore, they feature an adjustable gullet tree, so the saddle can be easily adjusted throughout the year as the horse changes shape. The Thorowgood T4 Compact MGC is adjustable from Narrow Medium to Extra Wide-Extra Extra Wide. This saddle takes the R bar, the longer gullet bars from Thorowgood.
The T4 Compact GP also features moveable knee blocks that can be positioned to suit the rider. In terms of fit for the horse, you also have variable girthing options, which can create a better fit by moving the girth straps and utilising the point and balance strap as required.
